Michael Caine couldn’t forget Turkey

The London premiere of the movie ‘The Prestige’ turned into a magic show. Famous British magicians entertained the guests with classical magic tricks. The cast of the movie, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, David Bowie and Scarlett Johansson took their place on the red carpet to greet their fans. The movie is a must see with its use of technology and visual effects.

Michael Caine answered my questions with sincertiy:

Caine: In this movie, I don’t play myself, I play the audience. My wife is a Muslim. She is a great person. We are very fond of each other. We overcame a lot of bad things together. Sometimes my wife gets mad at me when I do enough at home. And I tell her ‘don’t forget, I’m an icon’. Ofcourse, it doesn’t work at home. A good marriage is like a good partnership. You have to care for each other and value each other. We found out the secret of marriage and that’s why our marriage and love is like in its first day.’

When I ask him about Turkey, he says: ‘I could not get enough of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. It’s such a magnificient place. Istanbul is a great city. It has a great dynamic. Turkish cuisine is delicious. My wife’s food reminds me of Turkish food. Such a beautiful country deserves such beautiful things. As soon as I get a chance, I would like to go there for vacation.”
