We rolled up our sleeves to conduct an exclusive interview with Head of State Pervez Musharraf a long time ago. After long discussions we finally received the ‘yes’ and we arrived toIslamabadin no time.

General Waheed Arshad is the right hand man of Pervez Musharraf. He is also the spokesperson of the military. We met General Arshad at the last minute, as usual, at Rawal Pindi, where the Military Headquarters are located. General Arshad tells me that he has a surprise for me. Many scenarios go through my mind until he starts speaking Turkish. The surprise of sympathetic spokesman of the Military was speaking Turkish. All my scenarios disappear. So be it.
